Soil Science

Introduction

In this module, you can find out more about how soil-forming processes operate in some Australian environments, and about the properties and management of selected Australian soils. As you explore these soil/landscape pairs, you will be applying the concepts gained from other modules and testing your skills in interpreting soil and landscape relationships.

The soils of these two productive Australian agricultural landscapes are both formed from basalt but under different climates.
